CODFISH
Codfish, a Portuguese symbol with nutritional benefits.
Cod, a fish widely used in several typically Portuguese dishes, is considered a reference in the Portuguese cuisine.
Although sometimes associated to a heavier or fatter fish, because of the dishes it originates, this idea is totally wrong and cod is a fish of excellence.
Among its many benefits, it stands out for being a wild fish, i.e., it is always caught in the ocean, as well as for its nutritional composition.
It is a lean high-protein fish, with a low-fat and low-calorie count. It is an excellent option for the whole family and all kind of needs: for athletes, children, pregnant women, people who follow weight loss diets or for those who try to make healthy food choices.
In addition to all this, it is a highly versatile fish that allows countless culinary options to explore and enhance our diet!
