Codfish, Avocado and Poached Egg Toasted Sandwich

Today’s recipe is simple and very tasty: It’s a Codfish, avocado and poached egg toasted sandwich. Shall we give it a go? Ready to taste great!

Ingredients

1 traditional codfish steak
1 avocado
Fleur de sel to taste
Black pepper to taste
Juice of ½ a lemon
2 eggs
Vinegar to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 slices bread, toasted
Sesame seeds to taste
Chives to taste

Preparation

Today’s recipe is simple and very tasty: It’s a Codfish, Avocado and Poached Egg Toasted Sandwich. Shall we give it a go?

Cook the codfish steak for about 7 minutes and flake. Reserve.

Mash the avocado flesh in a bowl with a fork. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Poach the egg for 4 minutes in boiling water seasoned with salt and vinegar.

To serve, spread the avocado paste on the toasted bread, then top with the cooked codfish flakes. Now put the poached egg on top and sprinkle everything with chives to taste.
