Codfish Cakes

Delicious Codfish Cakes prepared with the best Portuguese cured codfish: Riberalves codfish. Check out the full recipe!

Ingredients

2 potatoes
1 carrot
300g Riberalves cod loin
4 tablespoons of cooked quinoa
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
1 coffee spoon of nutmeg
q.s. garlic powder
q.s. Chopped parsley

Preparation

A practical recipe for codfish cakes. Shall we prepare them? Defrost the codfish.

Remove the skin and bones, weigh 250g and bake it.

Shred it very well. Boil the potato and carrot, cut into pieces, drain well and make into a puree. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together: the codfish, the vegetable puree, the quinoa and the seasoning, kneading with your hands.

Shape the cakes and arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven, at 200 degrees, for about 15 minutes (or until golden brown).
