Defrost the codfish <\/a>and cook in plenty of water for approximately 5 to 7 minutes (depending on the size of the fish). Then, drain well, remove skin and bones and place in a dry kitchen cloth. Close and shred well until the codfish is finely shredded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Peel the potatoes, cook in boiling salted water, drain well and blend it in a food mill. Soften the finely chopped onion and garlic in 3 tablespoons of olive oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a bowl add the shredded codfish, the crushed potatoes, the onion and the garlic, mix well.
