To prepare a delicious codfish Benedict, prepare the Riberalves codfish!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring the water to the boil and add the codfish loins. Cook for 4 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leave to cool and flake it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a heatproof bowl place the egg yolks, water and lemon juice. Stir until bubbles form. Cook in a bain-marie, stirring constantly until thickened, add the butter little by little stirring constantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remove from the bain-marie and season with pepper. Divide in 2 and toast the bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poach the egg in salted water with vinegar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the codfish on the bread slices and sprinkle with the smoked paprika, then place the egg and cover with the sauce, sprinkle the codfish Benedict with chives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
