The greatest symbol of Portuguese gastronomy – the codfish – is in focus in another edition of the Continente Food Festival, already next weekend in Porto. Riberalves, the reference brand of codfish in Portugal, narrows the partnership with Continente and presents itself in the Municipal Park (Parque da Cidade) placing the codfish in the centre of attention, highlighting its quality, versatility and, above all, its healthy value.

Fish of 100% wild origin, rich in protein and low in fat, codfish is the perfect ally of a balanced diet, enhancing the most diverse recipes, whether the most traditional or those interpreted by the new cuisine. It will be precisely Michelin-starred chef Miguel Laffan, ambassador of Riberalves, who will present a workshop on Sunday, with his healthy summer tips regarding codfish. At the same time, Riberalves will meet consumers in the Organic and Healthy Space of the Continente Food Festival, highlighting the characteristics that make codfish one of the best animal proteins available.
