Codfish Broth with Barley, by Ana Bravo

Ingredients
1 dessert spoon of olive oil
1 clove of garlic
1 shallot
1 bay leaf
1/2 carrot
1 cup chopped broccoli
1/3 courgette

Defrost the codfish, remove the skin and bones.
Heat the pan in which you put the olive oil with the chopped garlic, bay leaf and thinly sliced shallot. Then add the sliced carrot and the broccoli.
Add hot water and as soon as it boils add the courgette, also cut into rounds. When the vegetables are almost ready, add the codfish, cut into pieces.
After cooking to taste, remove the bay leaf and serve with the barley that was already cooked.
