Sautéed codfish cheeks with mango and avocado tartar

Ingredients

1 pack Riberalves Cod Cheeks
Olive oil q.s.
1 avocado
1 mango
1/4 red onion
2 files
Coriander q.s.
Black pepper q.s.

Preparation

A practical, beautiful and tasty recipe with codfish cheek. Shall we prepare? Defrost the codfish cheeks, rinse under cold running water, drain well and dry with absorbent paper towels.

In a large non-stick pan with olive oil sauté the codfish cheeks over a medium to high heat for 3 to 4 minutes, turning halfway through.

For the “tartar”: dice the avocado and mango and finely chop the onion, place in a bowl, drizzle with the juice of the limes and add coarsely chopped coriander. Stir everything together.

Season the “tartar” with a drizzle of olive oil, mix and serve with the sautéed codfish cheeks seasoned with freshly ground black pepper, sprinkled with coriander and drizzled with a light drizzle of olive oil.
