Codfish Burger

Codfish burgers are quick and easy to make. They’re ideal for a quick and convenient meal. Here’s the full recipe! Ready to taste great!

Ingredients

3 codfish steaks
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Chopped parsley
60 g pitted green olives
½ red bell pepper, diced
2 eggs
100 g breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons olive oil

To serve:
4 burger buns or bolo do caco flatbread rolls
4 large slices of tomato
4 lettuce leaves

Preparation

Cook the codfish steaks for 7 minutes.

Remove the skin and bones from the fish and shred it.

Put the olives, onion, garlic and chopped parsley into a food processor.

Blitz just enough to mix everything together without forming a paste. Reserve.

Now blitz the codfish in the processor.

Add the codfish to the previous mixture.

Season with pepper.

Add the olive oil, eggs and breadcrumbs.

Mix it all up very well and keep adding more breadcrumbs until the mixture stops sticking to your hands.

Shape the burgers and fry them in a little olive oil.

Serve in burger buns with lettuce and tomato.

And your Codfish burgers are ready.
