Fish and chips

Let’s make some delicious fish and chips. With Riberalves Codfish it will be just perfect. Give the recipe a try and enjoy!

Ingredients

2 codfish steaks
75 g wheat flour + 20 g
75 g corn starch
150 ml ice cold beer
Salt and pepper to taste
1 litre oil for frying
2 frying potatoes
Lemon

Preparation

Cook the codfish steaks for 7 minutes after the water starts to boil.

Meanwhile, mix the flour with the corn starch, stir in the beer, season, and chill.

Flake the codfish, dredge with flour and then coat with the chilled batter. Fry the battered fish in plenty of hot oil until golden brown.

Fry the chips.

Serve the fried fish and chips together.

If desired, serve your fish and chips with lemon.
