Codfish Cordon Bleu

A traditional recipe with a special touch of the best Portuguese cured codfish: Codfish Cordon Bleu. Shall we prepare it?

Ingredients

800 g deep-frozen soaked cod loins Riberalves
6 slices of cheese
6 slices of ham
2 eggs
pepper q.b.
Breadcrumbs to pass
flour to pass
Frying oil

Preparation


A traditional recipe with a special touch of the best Portuguese cured codfish: Codfish Cordon Bleu. Shall we prepare it?

Defrost the codfish loins, dry them with a kitchen cloth and cut them in half, without separating the two halves.

Stuff the loins with slices of cheese and ham, press a little and sprinkle with pepper. Then rub them with flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs and fry them in oil until golden brown on both sides.

Remove, let them drain on a paper towel and serve with a mixed salad.

The Codfish Cordon Bleu is ready!
